There is one big open field with a few RV hookups. It got very crowded when a family reunion came in, and was noisy on one of the nights. If you don't have a hookup you can park anywhere or tent anywhere on the field. Some people parked their rv's crowded together. The log cabins are rustic and picturesque, but have terrible old mattresses--very uncomfortable. The washrooms are clean and well kept, but have weird, creepy art on the walls--creepy enough to scare children. For example, a picture of ghosts flying around outside one of the cabins, and pictures of weird faces and eyes peeking at you through a forest. Also a really creepy scarecrow (?) in the middle of the big field , with a scary mask with sharp teeth, and holding as liquor bottle. On one of the trails there was a large and really scary werewolf mask. The weird art gives the places an unpleasant vibe, and makes you think the people running the place must be strange. . Will not return.

Spent a week here in a cabin with my eldest daughter and her family. My youngest daughter and her family were camping in a trailer. It was a wonderful week with lots of playing time for the grandchildren.

I used to come here as a child with my family over the Labour Day weekend. ANAVETS used to have a fishing derby there.

we went up there in late nov/2016 just befor the lake iced up and had a good time.Verry rustic ,good gravle road, not bad fishing also! The owners are verry free with all the fishing and local history.
