  Love it here. Can find lots of organic or more natural items. Love supporting Safeway as they are often donating goods to Salvation army and other places to help those in need. A good store to shop at especially since lowering most prices on items!

  Please teach the cashier bag salad DOESN'T go on top of a bag of frozen food. Then she was going to eggs on top.i gave her two large bag. I put my frozen things together the last few things together to go in second bag. She was young and not too friend complaining she wasn't on lunch.

  Ever since Sobey's took this store over, the quality has gone down. Many name brands have been replaced in favour of the Sobey's "Compliments" brand, which are an inferior quality. One huge problem since the takeover has been the inadequate stocking of shelves. I only shop for myself, however, EVERY SINGLE TIME I go shopping, I'm looking for something that is not on the shelves. Recently, I went back two days in a row looking for one particular item and in a 24-hour period, the item still had not been stocked. Have started shopping at Independant.

  Customer service is awful. Was trying to buy smokes with international drivers license, said that they need Canadian one, and then created a policy out of their mind that they are not selling smokes with international ids. Well, what about all international visitors? Do they need to get a Canadian id for their 2 weeks of vacation? So stupid. No apologize for wasting my 15 min, the assistant manager was keep arguing with me. Finally, after some time they actually sold them to me. I ll better drive to 7/11 next time and have no issues then go to Safeway.
