  Always going there for my new baby mouse Timothy . Timothy was a little hit with the ladies there . :) We have got toys and good food that he likes. Very helpful and friendly . Good store. Timothy and I will continue to shop here.

  I have a kitten and stop by Animal House occasionally for her toys as this is the only place I can get a certain one. They also have catnip treats that seem to be really good!

  My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday afternoon an hour before closing and were ignored by two staff members at the front desk. They clearly saw us, and continued to ignore us as we browsed the fish and accessories. On our way out we finally were acknowledged but by that time we were quite unimpressed.

  This is my favorite pet store in town by far. The employees and the owner are always friendly and helpful. I'm quite regular and they have taken the time to get to know me and greet me by name when I visit. If someone can't answer a question I have they ask each other and often get on the phone or internet to find an appropriate answer. They have brought in items that were currently out of stock from another location so I wouldn't have to wait as long to get what I was after. When I was new to fish keeping I made some mistakes that almost cost my betta fish (Jack) his life and they spent a lot of time helping me bring him through it and avoid it happening again. I followed the advice given over a few weeks and Jack healed up well. They also provide the best betta care in town in my opinion. The bowls are always very clean. Finally, I find their prices to be very competitive when compared to the big box stores and often times they are actually a little cheaper:) I could go on but you should go drop in and discover for yourself what a great and LOCAL business the Kamloops Animal House is.
