  Staff is very friendly and helpful, yard guy was great. Returns are easy. Lots of good deals hidden around the shelves. Garden centre area could be better.

  Dealt with a guy buy the name of Josh and he was so helpful that i said to my wife when we left the store that we will never go back to Home Depot again. She agreed. Cheers to Josh

  Staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and yard staff are ready to assist you with ANYTHING I need. Lots of cull lumber @ half price in the yard if you're on a a budget, and I find discount items people ordered but never picked up on the shelves. Sometimes an item is out of stock, but rarely for more than a few days. Product is always easy to find, and the guys at the service desk are always happy to order in exactly what I'm looking for within a few weeks, and price match the competition. The smiling staff, awesome service, and local "mom and pop" atmosphere is why I shop at Rona, instead of the "big box" stores. While they may have "everything you need". Sometimes finding it, or some assistance, is difficult...

  Not as big a selection to 'look' at as Home Depot, but the prices are often better and the staff is more caring... and they say they can order it if they don't have it on the shelf. The man helping me (Shilo) was a great listener and didn't talk down to me when I needed help - he explained things thoroughly and gave me a choice of options (w.r.t. paint and flooring) that made me feel like I was in control. They treat you with so much respect and friendliness - I'd go here even if there were other drawbacks (which there aren't any that I've noticed).
