  The telephone system that scotiabank has created in order to (eventually) speak to a human being is the absolute worst I've EVER experienced.... truly terrible. Once you reach someone (in Bogota Colombia!) they are very helpful - but getting to them is unbelievably incredibly stupidly BAD.

  A special brand of terrible. If they call Satan's sister from the back to sort out your problem, quickly leave. Pompous, shrill, rude and useless. An absolute dumpster fire of a person. Name something like 'Gina' 'Jeanna?'. I had the dubious pleasure of waiting in line for a half hour as this overbearing emotional mess loudly shrieked her frustration at her utter incompetence at her own job throughout the bank. Never did help the people. Truly appalling service.

  Terrible service, and not helpful at all. I made 3 purchases, all went over my funds (not on purpose), the funds were refunded (so it's not like I got anything out of it), then they dinged me $144, $48 for each of the 3 purchases. Wanna know how much one of my purchases was? $1.64, and they REFUSED to do anything about the $48 charge... Then I woke up this morning, and apparently there is another charge from my Paypal for the same price as a previous one that didn't clear, and I checked my Paypal account and NOTHING has been purchased. It was the same price as a previous purchase. I never made this purchase (especially not twice over the span of a few days), and yet it appears on my account and I'll be charged ANOTHER $48 for that.

  Terrible customer service! I feel that waiting in line with 10 other people for 20 min because there is only one teller open is crazy.

  I'm DONE with Scotia Bank! If they lifted a finger to try and help it'd be different, but they're just minimalistic, and money grabbers.
